Become a U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Today
The United States Naval Sea Cadet Corps (USNSCC) is a maritime based youth program sponsored by the U.S. Navy and supported by the U.S. Coast Guard. Cadets train on naval bases and other military installations in a variety of military disciplines, always choosing adventure, seeking challenges, and stepping outside of their comfort zone to prove to the world that Greatness Has No Age.

All prospective cadets must be U.S. citizens or permanent legal residents, and meet our minimum age requirement (ages 10 through the completion of high school). We have approximately 400 units across the United States and in Guam and Puerto Rico. Fill out the Prospective Cadet form to contact us today!
During the school year, cadets train at their local unit - typically meeting one weekend a month. Cadets are required to attend and graduate recruit training, a fast-paced 9-14 day training focused on basic military instruction and team building. After recruit training, cadets can participate in a number of unique advanced trainings such as field operations, robotics, SCUBA, submarine training, culinary arts, SEALs, and even International Exchange Programs. Only YOU can chart your course!
